Sunday, October 14th we held our annual Fall Festival at the Freedom Farm. The weather held out this year for us, making it a cool but wonderful day on the Farm. If you were able to come out and spend some time with us on the Farm and see what we are all about, thank you for joining us! If you didn’t make it this year, we welcome you to the Farm anytime! Thank you to Patch 22 for bringing their ponies again this year and donating pony rides for a few hours. Thank you to Lake County Farm Heritage Association for spending your afternoon with us as well as donating your barrel train rides. It was such a wonderful afternoon: we had games for the kids, pumpkin painting (paint a pumpkin that we will delivery to the VA on our Rose Delivery Sunday Halloween Week), we had a wonderful band who kept our guests entertained and dancing to such tunes as Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” . Thank you to Lake County Harm Heritage Associate as well as the Chris Patterson Memorial Foundation for your donations to our organization. We thank you to all who came out and spent the afternoon with us, to all of our volunteers who helped get ready for the event and most importantly to our Veterans and their families, we are here for you!
