The event will start at Noon sharp.  There will be onsite parking in our pasture.  There will be motorcycle parking out front if you would like to ride.  All are welcome, this even is 100% free.  While you are here, please feel free to visit and take a walk around the farm and see what we have to offer.  We have two horses who love to be petted, chickens and goats who love to be fed. Heumann Well Drilling Donates a Well

Heumann Well Drilling spent a couple days on the farm installing a well for us that they donated 100% to the Freedom Farm.  We cannot thank you enough for your time and donation to our organization, for giving us a supply of water for our animals, veggies, and roses to drink.  Thank you again for your support.

Donate a Rose Bush

rose bush flyer

Every Sunday, we deliver roses to the veterans at the VA in North Chicago,  if you would like to donate a rose bush in honor of someone, please contact your local florist and let them know you want to purchase a rose bush for the Freedom Farm.  We would then get the bush and plant it in our Rose Garden on the farm in honor and memory of your loved one.

Farmer’s Insurance Spends the Day at the Farm

On a rainy day Tuesday April 4 a group of Farmers Insurance employees came out to work on the Farm.  The day’s events induced installing wiring a hot wire on the fence, cutting rolled roofing for the barn roof repair, framing a section of the barn wall for the window replacement and helping to clean the horse stalls. The group enjoyed working on the farm and plan to return.

Thank you for spending your rainy day with us at the Farm, we are looking forward to having you back again soon.  A special Thank You to all of our volunteers, we cannot keep going without you!
