We have a couple of updates to share for spring …
We want to share with you our new partnership with the PFC Geoffrey Morris Fishing Tournament. The tournament is held annually in June on the weekend after Fathers Day at North Point Marina, Winthrop Harbor, Illinois (June 26-28, 2015). The Tournament proceeds will benefit the Heroes of Freedom Memorial and Freedom Farm for Vets. Its purpose is to assist the families of our serviceman or woman from all branches whether Active, Reservist or Veterans status. 2015 is the 11th annual tournament.
We also want to share our excitement about the Heroes of Freedom Memorial, a memorial that is being built in the wonderful city of Wauconda to honor ALL Iraq/Afghanistan veterans. This effort was started by Kirk Morris, father of PFC Geoffrey Morris, who was killed in Iraq in 2004, along with a wonderful group of volunteers.
We are very proud to be partnering with these two groups and hope you share our enthusiasm and support for these two efforts.
We also have to thank Maddie once again, because of the article in the Zion News … Temple Farms donated a truck load of hay for our horses. Thanks Again Maddie!
